Originally from the Canadian Rocky Mountains, Ryan’s passion for musculoskeletal health was developed after years of involvement in multiple sports and hobbies including ice hockey, skiing, mountain biking and surfing. Several injuries over the years lead Ryan to work with various health and rehab professionals eventually finding the holistic approach of Osteopathy. After experiencing great results from Osteopathic care, Ryan was inspired to pursue a formal education in Osteopathy at Southern Cross University.

Ryan is passionate about the role of Osteopathy in assisting people of all ages and walks of life to lead healthy and active lifestyles and encourages patients to take an active role in their health promotion. Ryan combines osteopathic manual therapy, exercise and rehab recommendations and lifestyle modification advice to help patients get back on track towards their goals and hobbies. Ryan utilises a variety of manual techniques including joint mobilization and manipulation, Muscle Energy Techniques, Myofascial release, soft tissue massage, gentle indirect methods and is a strong believer in using the approach most suitable for the individual.

You can find Ryan enjoying the local mountain bike trails, surfing around the Ballina region, or in the gym pursuing his own strength and conditioning goals.
